The drama of the Kennedy Center is the perfect exemplar of Donald Trump.
The Kennedy Center was conceived as a living memorial to a beloved slain president, John F. Kennedy. As such, it hosted the performing arts -- music, dance and theater, and it was a gathering place of creativity and of community.
Donald Trump, for whatever reasons, decided that he needed to put his name on the side of it. The net result of his insecurities and arrogance is that the building is now shuttered and the Center is going bankrupt.
In other words, Donald Trump killed it. Like everything he touches. King Midas he ain't.
